Le Crotoy spot is very tide sensitive , it works a maximum of 2 hrs each side of full tide : apart from this span of time , the sea is very far and there are dangerous ripcurrents . When the wind is good ( SW or NNW =side on ) , the sky fair and it is a weekend , the spot will be packed to death , because its one of the closest spots from Paris .There are good close lodging solutions , and several good to excellent restaurants .
